JD Advising Working Closely with Top Detroit Law Firms

This past administration, JD Advising, LLC worked with top Detroit law firms to help summer associates prepare for the bar exam.  Ashley Heidemann from JD Advising presented seminars on the structure of the Michigan bar exam and highly tested subjects and issues. The seminars also guided students on how to answer MBE and essay questions on the exam.

Associates also enrolled in JD Advising’s Michigan essay course, Michigan bar exam seminar, and purchased JD Advising’s How to Pass the Michigan Bar Exam book.

When Will July 2017 New York Bar Exam Results be Released?

July 2017 New York bar exam results should be released around the last week of October or first week of November.  (Our formal prediction is  Friday, October 27 but it could really be anytime at the end of October or beginning of November!)

For the February 2017 New York Bar Exam, we predicted results would be released on April 25 and they were in fact released then!

UBE Minimum Passing Score Range: For the July 2017 bar exam, 27 jurisdictions will administer the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE). Massachusetts will be the 28th UBE jurisdiction starting in July 2018. However, don’t think that each requires the same passing score! Although many jurisdictions administer the UBE, a passing score varies from state-to-state. As a result, a passing score varies widely.  So, below, we go over the UBE minimum passing score range for each jurisdiction.
