JD Advising’s MBE Course offers a personalized and highly focused approach to the MBE. We give each student personal attention. And we pride ourselves on an efficient approach. We cover the highly tested MBE topics in this course as well as winning strategies to conquer the MBE. We have helped students raise their MBE scores significantly–with many seeing score increases of 30 or 40 points.

This course was designed by Ashley Heidemann, who scored a 180 on the MBE.

What does the MBE course offer?

  • A personalized approach in a small group setting. We offer the course in a small group setting so that we can keep track of every student. We document progress through use of a diagnostic and by giving weekly quizzes to maximize accountability.
  • 28 hours of instruction on Multistate Bar Exam subjects. We go over substance as well as strategies for structure, timing, and improvement. We cover all subjects but we do not cover every topic within each subject. Rather, we focus on the highly tested and most difficult areas of law.
  • Fantastic MBE outlines! Our MBE outlines are precisely tailored to the MBE. They contain the substance you need to know in a manageable format. We include charts, colors, diagrams, and mnemonics to make it easy to learn the outlines. You will receive outlines for all of the MBE subjects! To read more about what sets our outlines apart, read this post. You will receive outlines for all of the MBE subjects–Real Property, Evidence, Torts, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law & Procedure, Contracts & Sales, and Civil Procedure.
  • Weekly quizzes. We give you quizzes each week to ensure you are memorizing the MBE law.
  • Released MBE questions. We distribute the Strategies and Tactics 6th Edition (with about 600 multiple-choice questions) as well as the 210-question practice questions that were recently released from the National Conference of Bar Examiners.
  • MBE One-sheets. All of our students receive our highly regarded MBE one-sheets, which contain each subject in one page, front and back.
  • MBE Guide. All of our students receive our MBE Guide which goes over tricky areas of law in a methodical fashion.
  • MBE Diagnostic. Before the course starts, you will have the opportunity to take our MBE diagnostic. This will help you see where you specifically struggle with the MBE. You will take the diagnostic then have a 15-minute phone call with a representative to review your strengths and weaknesses.

Note: During the lecture, we do not cover every area of every topic – we cover the most highly tested and most difficult areas of law.
